About Me
Background
I have a degree in electrical engineering, but I've always worked in software. I have 30+ years of engineering experience, and since 1999 I've focused on web technologies: building, maintaining, and leading development of web-based systems. That EE background gives me a systems-thinking perspective that most developers don't have. I think in terms of how things connect, fail, and scale, not just how to make them work on a good day.
For most of my career I worked in enterprise software: large teams, big systems, complex infrastructure. I'm based in Denver, CO, and I work with clients across the US.
What I Do Now
Now I'm focused on something different: helping small businesses get fast, professional, custom-built websites without the bloat, the subscriptions, or the lock-in that comes with template builders.
I work directly with clients: no account managers, no handoffs. You deal with me from the first conversation to the final launch. If something needs fixing after the site is live, I'm the one who fixes it.
How I Work
Every site I build is yours outright. No monthly platform fees, no proprietary CMS you can't leave. Just clean, fast code built to last. I keep projects straightforward: clear scope, honest timelines, no surprises.
If you're not sure whether a custom site makes sense for your situation, I'll tell you honestly. Sometimes a template builder is the right answer, and I'd rather tell you that upfront than build something you didn't need.
